2010 Minidoka Pilgrimage Itinerary

Here’s a quick rundown of what’s going to be happening this year at the 2010 Minidoka Pilgrimage to be held June 24-27, 2010 in Twin Falls, Idaho.  More details to come later….

June 24-27, 2010

Thursday June 24
Seattle Bus departs Bellevue College (BCC) for Twin Falls, Idaho
Pilgrimage Participants arrive in Twin Falls for 2010 Pilgrimage
Catered Dinner at Rock Creek Park (for all Pilgrimage participants)

Friday June 25
Workshops and Presentations at Civil Liberties Symposium
Portland Taiko Performance

Saturday June 26
Guided tours of preserved barracks at the Idaho Farm and Ranch Museum
Guided tours of Minidoka National Historic Site
Talk Story Small Groups and Sharing
BBQ Dinner at the Prescott Ranch
Social Hour

Sunday June 27
Closing Ceremony at Minidoka National Historical Site
Closing Lunch at the Turf Club
Seattle Bus departs Twin Falls, ID for Bellevue College (BCC)

Minidoka Pilgrimage Scholarships Available

Minidoka Pilgrimage scholarships are still being accepted!  The deadline for the scholarships has been pushed back to March 28th.  Please fill out an application and return ASAP if you’re interested!

In an effort to continue to have diverse input, participation and energy, the Minidoka Pilgrimage Committee is proud to offer unique scholarship opportunities to students and fixed income seniors. Student scholarship recipients are asked to assist with work activities before and during the 2010 Pilgrimage and all are encouraged to be involved in the planning of subsequent Pilgrimages. The pilgrimage will be taking place this year from June 24-27th, 2010.

Fumiko Hayashida: The Woman Behind the Symbol
